This guide shows you how to disassemble and replace the battery in the electronic key remote for the BMW X1 F48, second generation. Take your remote and start by removing the key from inside it; then pry on the sides to remove the back cover and access the battery compartment, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); just insert it in the correct orientation and reassemble the remote, following the video to the end!
