Engine Overheating and Air Bubbles Advice

If air bubbles form in the cooling system, this can cause an increase in pressure within the system, leading to a rise in water temperature. Over time, this could first damage the head gasket, but if the temperature increase is significant, it can also cause warping of the cylinder head, which may be irreparable, even with resurfacing. Therefore, it is essential to periodically check the coolant level and release any trapped air bubbles through the bleed valves located throughout the cooling system.
