Different Types of Tensioners

This video shows us the two different tensioners for the timing chain. The first tensioner is removed directly from the nut anchored on the left side of the bearing, while the second tensioner can also be removed with a 15 mm wrench thanks to the nut located right on the bearing. Remember that tensioners are highly important components in an engine; they keep the timing belt under tension, and through this rubber toothed belt, motion is transmitted from the crankshaft to the engine's timing system.
