Today, you will see in this video tutorial how to remove and replace the front axle boot on the BMW 3 Series E46, following the instructions below. First, lift the vehicle and start by removing the front wheel; then remove the front brake caliper by unscrewing the two bolts, and disconnect the tie rod end from the brake system, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the central bolt of the bearing and proceed to extract the front axle, then remove the boot; all that’s left is to replace it with the new one!
