Installing the Camshaft

This video shows how to install a new camshaft on a BMW 3 Series. A new timing system is also installed, along with hydraulic lifters. First, the rocker arms are shown. The new hydraulic lifters, after being properly lubricated, are installed. Next, a new camshaft is presented; after lubricating its bearing surfaces and lobes, it is gently placed in position. At this point, proceed to install the rocker shaft, which must be secured using an Allen wrench (the size varies by vehicle model). Finally, the timing system is installed, but not before performing the measurement procedure with a special spacer. As the last step, manually rotate the timing system.

How to Replace the Window Regulator on the BMW X3

Replacing the window regulator mechanism requires removing the door panel and the aluminum underpanel to access the mechanism itself.
