How to Replace the Battery on a BMW X1?

To replace the battery on a BMW X1, open the trunk and remove the plastic cover that serves as flooring. Once removed, you will have access to the bottom, which contains the battery: it can be removed from its housing after disconnecting the cables and loosening the respective bolts. Once the old battery is removed, you can insert the new one, which should be placed in its housing and connected to the cables. After installation, you can reinsert the plastic panel.
