How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW E90

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

If you need to reset the service light after a DIY replacement, you can do it directly from the dashboard. Turn the ignition key to power the cluster. Wait for the time and temperature to display. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button until the various maintenance items appear on the display. Use the levers on the turn signal stalk (the one on the left of the steering wheel) to scroll through the menu until you find the maintenance item you performed. At this point, press the button at the end of the lever (marked "BC") and you will see the word "RESET". Keep it pressed until the clock symbol starts to spin; release the button and wait for the reset to complete.
