To access the battery, you need to remove the tank cover by unscrewing the 6 fixing screws located on top and at the front. Once the panel is removed, you have access to the battery and can proceed to disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive. Remove the battery from the compartment and replace it with the new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative. Finally, refit the upper panel.
