Today we will discover the main instructions that will allow us to remove and replace the battery of the BMW 3 Series E46 in simple and quick steps. First, open the rear trunk lid and remove the upper shelf, accessing the battery compartment (located under the right side cover); then disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative) by unscrewing the nuts with a 10 mm socket wrench. Next, unscrew the screw of the mounting bracket located at the bottom; lift and remove the battery, replacing it with a new one!
