In this video tutorial we will see how to disassemble and replace the starter motor on the BMW 3 Series E46, third series, following the instructions below. First we go to identify the starter motor; then let's unscrew the nut of the power cable clamp, using a 13 mm wrench, as shown in the video. At this point we are going to unhook the hooks that we find on the back; now we are going to remove the arm that we find near the transmission, the one indicated, to be able to unscrew the starter motor screws, removing and replacing it!
