Replacing the Starter Motor on BMW 3 Series

Let's replace the starter motor on a BMW 3 Series. Raise the hood and secure it. Remove the starter motor covers, disconnect the battery terminals and the terminals connected to the starter motor using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs. Use a socket wrench to remove the mounting bolts of the starter motor and take it out of the engine compartment. Install the new starter motor by connecting the power cables and securing it with the associated bolts. Test the new starter motor.
