To remove the "Inactive Self-Leveling Suspension" error on the BMW 5 Series, connect a diagnostic tool to the vehicle's OBD port, located at the lower left of the steering column. Sometimes, it may also be necessary to replace the compressor that prevents the suspension from functioning correctly. After resetting the error, you can disconnect the scanner.
