In order to remove the "Self-leveling suspension inactive" error on the BMW 5 Series, a diagnostic tool must be connected to the OBD port of the car, located at the bottom left of the steering column. Once this has been connected, it will be possible to follow the instructions that are shown in the video to reset the error present in the control unit. Sometimes it may also be necessary to replace the compressor that prevents the suspension from functioning properly. After the error has been reset, it will then be possible to disconnect the scanner.
