Removing the Center Console Cover

To remove the rear part of the center console, where the armrest is located, start by removing the rear ashtray and unscrewing the screws underneath to extract the ashtray housing. Below this, you will find more screws; once the rear part is free, detach the trim frame to access the armrest mounting system. This consists of a spring that, when released, allows you to remove the plastic pin securing the armrest. Next, remove the fastening pin of the armrest support bracket, detach the cover boot of the gear lever, unscrew the screws underneath, and complete the removal of the console cover by also detaching the boot of the parking brake lever.
