In order to replace the rear window mechanism, it is first necessary to remove the door trim panel and the sound-absorbing lining (be careful when removing the mastic so as not to tear the cover). Then connect the window lifter button and lower the window halfway in order to access the glass fixing claws (the motor can also be powered with an auxiliary battery and two lengths of wire). Loosen the fixing pins of the claws and remove the glass after removing the covering of the glass upright, then unscrew the fixing pins of the window lifter mechanism and extract it complete with motor. Then apply the same motor to the new mechanism and proceed in reverse for installation.
