Replacement and coding of a BMW 7 Series battery

In this video, we will see how to change the battery of a BMW 7 Series, and then code it, in order to ensure its correct operation. The battery is not located in the engine compartment, but under the floor of the trunk cargo area. We start by disconnecting the negative terminal, then the positive one with its fuse box. We put the battery vent tube in its place and position the new battery, reconnecting the terminals in reverse order, so first the positive one and then the negative one. We put the floor back in place and move on to coding: we use a Launch diagnostic tool, which we can find for example on Amazon with the code B0CN423X8G at a price of 199.00 euros, free delivery for Prime customers. With the ignition on, we go to "reset", then "battery reset", confirm and then select the brand and model, confirm the battery registration, confirm the replacement, confirm that it is identical but in this case not original BMW, then it automatically adjusts the date and time of installation, confirm and it's done.
