Replacing the Rear Window

If you have time and patience, this guide shows how to replace the rear window of the car without needing a body shop, saving some money in the process. To remove the old rear window, first take off the wiper blades using a wrench, then proceed to pull the gasket outward, being careful not to break it. If there was sealant before, apply it again to the gasket. Next, take a piece of cord and place it inside the hollow cavity of the gasket, bringing the two ends together at the bottom of the rear window. Then position the glass, adjusting it from the outside, and reattach the wiper blades.
