Replacing Turbocharger Lubrication Tube

Lubricating the variable geometry of the turbocharger is essential to ensure its proper functioning and longevity, not to mention the cooling effect of the oil itself. Therefore, insert the new copper washers just below the head of the bolt and under the eye of the turbocharger lubrication tube before securing it to the base; likewise, insert the new copper washers at the bolt and the eye on the turbocharger side and tighten. If the turbocharger has been overhauled or the engine has been stationary for a long time, fill the variable geometry with clean oil before starting the engine to ensure proper lubrication.
