Removing Fog Lights and Front Bumper

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Front bumper

To facilitate the removal of the fog lights and front bumper, lift the vehicle on a lift or use appropriate jack stands; then remove the front wheels and the plastic cover of the wheel wells. This allows access to the fog lights, which are not attached to the bumper but to a bracket fixed to the front impact beam. Next, unscrew the mounting screws of the fog lights from their support bracket and disconnect the bulb power connectors to completely remove them. To remove the bumper, you need to take off the lower side grilles, which are snap-fitted, and unscrew the bumper mounting pins from the front beam, then detach it from the plastic side supports located under the front fenders.
