How to Replace the Tail Light Bulb on a BMW X3

To replace the tail light bulb on a BMW X3, open the rear hatch to access the side of the corresponding light. Here, you will find a plastic cover that needs to be removed to loosen the underlying bolts.

Once these are unscrewed, you can pull the light out from its housing by disconnecting the connectors attached to it. After the light has been removed, open it from the back and pull out the bulb inside; after replacing the bulb, reconnect the light and secure it in its place.
