How to Replace the Window Regulator on a BMW Z4?

To replace the window regulator on a BMW Z4, you need to completely remove the door panel by detaching the trim along the door handle. Once the trim is removed, unscrew the underlying screws so that the door panel can be fully taken off. After removing the panel, disconnect the fabric part underneath and unscrew the screws that secure the window regulator mechanism, disconnecting its connectors. By securing the glass, you can then insert the new window regulator and reassemble the panel.
