How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 3 Series

Whenever you change the oil and oil filter on your vehicle, you must reset the service light displayed on the instrument cluster. To do this, follow these instructions: First, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Then, press the button marked with a bicycle icon on the left multifunction lever and select the oil change service option on the display. On the lower left side of the instrument cluster, there is a button that you need to press and hold until the oil change service indicator is updated.
