Therefore, it must be performed by a certified mechanic who will provide documentation regarding the installation, ensuring it meets standards and includes the hitch's compliance. However, the installation process is quite simple: it involves removing the bumper and the impact absorber beam and replacing the latter with a bar equipped with a tow hitch support; once this bar is secured, cut the portion of the bumper that interferes with the hitch and reattach it.
