In this brief and simple guide, you will learn how to remove and replace the steering wheel frame and switch panel on the BMW 3 Series. First, get in the vehicle and start by removing the steering wheel. Disconnect the airbag by unplugging the electrical connector located at the back. Then, remove the central screw to take off the steering wheel. Next, unscrew the screws located on the back and inside the steering wheel (on the sides) to remove the plastic cover and switch panel. Connect the new switch panel and reassemble everything!
