Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

During an oil change, it is always advisable to replace the filter as well; therefore, open the fill cap and pull the dipstick to facilitate the drainage of the used oil through the drain plug located on the side of the oil pan (there is no need to remove any cover). Once the oil has drained, reattach the plug and proceed with replacing the oil filter cartridge, which is of the immersion type; the filter location is near the power steering oil reservoir: unscrew the cap, remove the old cartridge, and insert the new one, replacing the set of sealing rings that are always included in the new filter kit; then screw the cap back on without exceeding the torque specification and fill the engine with new oil until the proper level is reached.
