How to Change Engine Oil on BMW X3

How do you change the oil and oil filter on a BMW X3? Let's see how to proceed with the replacement. Lift the car on a lift and unscrew the drain plug of the oil pan, allowing the oil to drain into a container (tighten the plug after draining). Lower the car, then open the car door and pull up the hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the hood. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the oil filter container, remove it, and install a new one, ensuring it fits snugly around the threads. Remove the cap on the cylinder head and refill with new oil.
