How do you replace the injectors on the BMW 3 Series?

In order to replace the injectors on the BMW 3 Series, you need to open the bonnet, so that you have access to the components located inside the engine compartment: here you need to detach the plastic cover from the upper part of the engine block, so that has access to the underlying components. The intake manifold can be removed from its seat by unscrewing the fixing screws and identifying the injectors underneath: these can be removed from their seat by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the fuel passage pipes.
