Instructions for Removing the Radiator Fan

To remove the radiator fan from the vehicle, you first need the appropriate wrenches: two long, flat wrenches (one to lock the fan's rotation and the other to loosen the mounting nut) that can also be purchased aftermarket. Once you have these wrenches, the operation is very simple. It is suggested to proceed in reverse order from what is shown in the video, meaning first remove the air duct to gain more maneuvering space for the fan removal. Then insert the wrenches, loosen the fan's mounting nut, completely unscrew it by turning, and extract it from its housing along with the plastic cover.

Where is the Fuel Filter Located in a Volvo XC60?
