How to Unlock the Automatic Transmission on the BMW 5 Series

If you are experiencing issues with the automatic transmission that is stuck, the following description provides useful tips and information to unlock it and restore proper functionality. After entering the cabin, remove the trim around the gear lever by pulling it towards you. Then, take a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole located on the left front side of the lever, pushing the screwdriver towards you until it reaches the end of the travel. Remove the screwdriver, and the transmission control system will be unlocked.

Where is the Fuel Filter Located in a Volvo XC60?

As shown, the filter is positioned at the lower part of the engine, right between the left half-shaft and the sway bar attachment. To replace the filter, first, go underneath the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions. Then, using an 18mm wrench, open the drain valve and allow any water present to escape. Next, unscrew the housing, remove the old filter, insert the replacement along with a new gasket, and reassemble everything.
