In case the cigarette lighter socket of our BMW X5 suddenly stops working, we can first check the status of the corresponding fuses, whose location is shown in this video. They are labeled with the codes F25 and F33 and are both located in the box inside the passenger compartment, behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. As for their amperage, it is respectively 25A and 5A. If one of them is faulty, make sure to always use a replacement with the same specifications, otherwise we may damage the connected devices.
