On the first generation BMW X5, the fuse boxes are located in various areas of the vehicle, each managing specific circuits. The main one is inside the dashboard, behind the glove compartment: by opening the door and flipping the panel, you can access the fuses, with the legend often printed on the back of the cover.

In the trunk, on the right side behind a cover, there is a second box that powers the taillights, seats, and audio system. In the engine compartment, the fuse blocks and relays protect high-load circuits, and the power distribution module houses main functions.

Other fuse modules may be located behind or below the main box, managing the fuel pump relay or auxiliary systems.
