How to Remove the Cigarette Lighter from a BMW X5

Let's see how to remove the cigarette lighter from a BMW X5 located in the center console tunnel. Open the glove compartment in the center tunnel; use a lever to detach the plastic covering the cigarette lighter (disconnect the power connectors for the lighter and other accessories). Remove the piece and replace it with a new one (compatible or original) of the same voltage. After installing the lighter in the dedicated plastic, mount it back in the glove compartment along with the other accessories. Test the proper functioning of the cigarette lighter.
