Today, let's go through the instructions to disassemble and replace the key shell of the BMW 3 Series. First, take your remote and remove the physical key from inside it; then remove the plastic cover on the back, also taking out the battery, as shown in the video. At this point, pry open the sides of the remote to separate it into two parts; then remove the circuit board and the chip, installing all components into the new key shell, including the circuit board, chip, battery, and key!
