How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 3 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on a BMW 3 Series, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster while it is off. Continue holding it, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch, and turn it to power on the instrument cluster. This will allow you to repeatedly press the button on the right side of the instrument cluster to reset the maintenance interval and turn off the Service light; after this operation, you can release the buttons and turn off the instrument cluster.
