Many electronic systems on board the car can lose some memorization if the battery is disconnected, from the simple clock to the radio unlock code; there is the possibility of disconnecting and then replacing the battery without having to enter any code or perform any memorization; while the battery is housed in the luggage compartment, in the engine compartment there are two return poles to which a booster or a buffer battery can be connected with the appropriate cables in order to leave the car's electrical system always powered on during disassembly of the battery; once this precaution has been implemented, the battery can be replaced by removing the loading surface and the side cover to access the battery compartment, remove the battery fixing brackets, disconnect the poles and extract the old battery to install the new one; once the poles have been reconnected, the return poles can be disconnected.

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
