Turning off the passenger airbag light on a BMW 3 Series, model E46, is a very simple task usually performed after maintenance or when you realize there is a malfunction. In this case, the malfunction is due to a blown airbag fuse that needs to be replaced. Open the passenger side glove compartment and remove the protective panel of the fuse box. From the diagram, you can identify that the airbag fuse is number 11. After removing the fuse, insert a new one into its slot to restore the safety system's functionality.
