Before starting the removal of the rear bumper, it is recommended to lift the vehicle on proper jack stands and remove the rear wheels, and also to obtain a fork screwdriver to extract the plastic push fasteners without breaking them; then open the trunk and proceed with the removal of the plastic interior coverings to access some of the bumper's mounting pins; then remove the wheel well liners from inside the rear fenders to complete the removal of the bumper, which will come off complete with the impact absorbing bar.
