BMW X3 - Video tutorial
Model: BMW X3
F25, MK 2
- Years 2010-2017 The battery of the BMW X3 and X4 has a peculiar feature, which is its location. We are used to seeing a vehicle's battery placed inside the engine compartment, near the fuse box or the air duct, but in this case, it is not so because the battery of the X3 and X4 is located inside the trunk. To inspect the battery if necessary, it is necessary to open the rear hood, remove the trunk cover, in order to access the first compartment, unscrew the two screws at the end and remove the battery cover. By doing so, we will have the opportunity to work on it.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
