To reset the Service light on a BMW X3, insert the ignition key to power on the instrument cluster. Once powered on, repeatedly press the BC button located at the end of the lever on the left side of the steering wheel.

Continue pressing it until the message showing the miles remaining until the next service appears. When this message appears, keep holding the button to start the reset.

Once the loading bar completes, you will notice that the reset is finished.
