When the TPMS light comes on in a 2005 BMW 5 Series, model E60, it means you need to adjust the tire pressure. Once you have done that, you must reset the light. To reset, first turn on the ignition, then press the directional buttons to select "AUTO" and then "AUTO SETTINGS". Select "TIRE PRESSURE RESET" and wait for the reset to load. When the reset operation is complete, turn off and then turn on the ignition again to update the system.
