In this video, you will learn how to reset the service light on a BMW 5 Series E60/E61 (produced from 2003 to 2010). First, get in the car and ensure all doors are closed. Also, pull the parking brake for safety. Turn the ignition on without starting the engine. Press the button located at the bottom right of the speedometer and scroll through the options until you find the oil light. Hold it down for a moment and then release it. The light has turned off. If you want to verify, you can turn off the instrument cluster and then turn it back on.
