In this tutorial we can see how to adjust the handbrake in the BMW 5 Series, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we park the vehicle on a flat surface with the first gear engaged, then we move back the armrest and release the base of the handbrake lever cover, which must be disengaged. We then lift the cover, locate the two adjustment bolts and tighten them until the desired tension level is reached. Finally, we put everything back together and test the new adjustment on a suitable road.
