If you own a BMW X5 G05 and want to learn the steps to manually reset the engine oil light, just read the following guide carefully. First, get in the car and start the instrument cluster in diagnostic mode by pressing the ignition button three times in a row. Next, locate the "BC" button at the end of the left steering lever and hold it for about 12 seconds.

Then release it and repeat the same procedure two more times to complete the oil light reset.
