In this tutorial we can see how to replace the cover of the external rearview mirror in the BMW 1 Series, an extremely simple and fast operation. Let's start by going in front of the mirror in question, then, using a preferably plastic spatula so as not to leave any marks, we lever along the entire perimeter of the cover. Once disengaged, we separate it from the rest of the mirror and position the replacement, which can be pressed firmly inward. If we also need to replace the direction indicator, simply remove it from the housing.
