How to Replace the Rear Headlight Bulb on a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

As the first step, disconnect and open the trunk lid at the back. This allows you to work directly on the affected area. Whether it's the right or left side doesn't matter, as the steps will be the same. Rotate the latch on the side of the trunk to open the rear compartment of the headlight. This lets you disconnect the plugs from the headlight and remove the entire bulb assembly. By doing this, you can directly replace the bulbs. Otherwise, just remove the bolts securing the headlight and pull it out from the outside.
