When we notice a difficulty in the gear sequence with the automatic transmission of the car, we can try to reset it through a specific procedure. First, we access the car, insert the key into its slot, and turn on the instrument panel. Then, after setting the gear lever to the letter P for Parking, we press and hold the accelerator pedal for thirty seconds. After this time has passed, we release the pedal and turn off the instrument panel, waiting a few seconds before turning it back on.
