How to replace the front headlight bulbs on BMW 1 Series e87

Model: BMW Serie 1 E81, E82, MK 1, E87 - Years 2004-2013

Open the hood of your BMW 1 Series e87. Locate the headlight that needs to have the bulb replaced. Remove the headlight protective cover. This may be secured with clips or screws. Disconnect the electrical connector of the bulb. Unclip the metal clip that holds the bulb in place. Remove the faulty bulb, being careful not to touch the glass with your hands. Insert the new bulb, being careful not to touch the glass with your hands and making sure it is securely in place. Reconnect the electrical connector and secure it properly. Put the headlight protective cover back on and make sure it is securely closed.
