How to Replace the Headlight Bulbs on BMW 1 Series E87

Open the bonnet of your BMW 1 Series E87. Locate the headlight that needs the bulb replacement. Remove the headlight protection cover.

This may be secured with clips or screws. Disconnect the electrical connector of the bulb.

Release the metal clip that holds the bulb in place. Carefully extract the faulty bulb, avoiding touching the glass with your hands.

Insert the new bulb, ensuring you do not touch the glass with your hands and that it is properly positioned. Reconnect the electrical connector and secure it well.

Refit the headlight protection cover and ensure it is tightly closed.
