Where is the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket of the BMW 1 Series located?

The fuse of the cigarette lighter socket of the 2006 BMW 1 Series model is located inside the fuse box in the passenger side glove compartment. To replace the fuse if necessary, you will need to open the compartment and remove it, in order to access the back. Using a needle-nose pliers, remove the 20 Amp fuse F30 and insert a new fuse with the same amperage. Reassemble the compartment and test the functionality of the socket by inserting a charging cable or an accessory for the car that needs to work with the cigarette lighter socket. If it still doesn't work, try replacing the internal connector.
