How to Remove the Door Panel on a Chevrolet Optra Mk1

This guide shows how to remove the inner door panel on the Chevrolet Optra Mk1. The first step is to remove the cover in the handle recess of the door lock. After unscrewing the screw in the door handle recess, remove the window switch panel using a plastic trim tool and disconnect the electrical cables. At this point, you can unscrew the screws securing the door panel: two in the compartment under the switch panel, two on the bottom edge of the panel, and one in the handle recess. Now you can remove the panel by working on the edges to detach the retaining clips. Remove the lock cable before completely taking off the piece.
