How to Change the Battery on the Cadillac XTS

To replace the battery on this vehicle, you can find the instructions for the operations to perform in this video and in the description below. First, open the hood; on the right side of the compartment, there is the battery housing. Remove the cover, disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal, and also remove the box containing the fuses. Then take a socket wrench to unscrew the mounting screws located at the base of the battery. This will allow you to remove the battery and place the new one in its housing. Then reposition the fuse box, reattach the mounting nut at the base of the battery, and reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal.
