How to Reset the Service Light on a Chevrolet Trax

To reset the service light on a Chevrolet Trax, turn on the ignition and use the controls on the left stalk (the one for the indicators). If 'trip' (partial odometer) is highlighted on the central display, press the button on the side of the stalk to switch to 'vehicle'. Use the wheel on the stalk (the one usually turned to scroll through menus) and turn until you find the remaining oil life percentage. With 'oil life' displayed, press and hold the button at the end of the stalk (the one at the top). A confirmation request will appear on the display. Use the wheel again to scroll and select 'yes'. Press the button at the end to confirm, and the percentage should return to 100%.
